Design Process
  • phase 1 - research on competitors, audience, personas, principles.
  • phase 2 - wire framing ideation, test assumptions, client buy-ins.
  • phase 3 - design

Advice and clients
  • consider the hierarchy of text and images when situating them on spreads for a publication.
  • consider how a design or layout can be used across a range of different media for the client. E.g. does the typeface chosen work when applied to websites, business cards and apps?
  • consider the colour application for a brand, relating to their geographical location. (University of Suffolk, square logo directs the viewer to the area in which the establishment is found.
